The Yankees announced their 26-man roster shortly after the Blue Jays.
The Blue Jays will take 13 pitchers and 13 position players into action against the Yankees.
The Yankees will go with 14 position players, 12 pitchers with their ALDS roster for series with Blue Jays.
In finalizing their 26-man roster for the best-of-five Division Series, the Yankees added Game 1 starter Luis Gil and subtracted right-handed reliever Mark Leiter Jr.
Yankees remove Mark Leiter Jr. to add Luis Gil as ALDS roster revealed
In an uneven season, Leiter posted a 5.79 ERA in 18 appearances after the All-Star break.
Last year, Leiter was not included in the ALDS roster but was added to the ALCS and World Series rosters following an injury to Ian Hamilton and performed well.
Everything else is pretty straightforward as the Yankees head into Saturday's Game 1 at Rogers Centre.
This time around, the Yankees kept Will Warren and Paul Blackburn on the roster, which still features 12 pitchers, while removing Leiter after he had pitched to a 4.84 ERA this season and did not appear in the wild-card series.
Once again, they'll go with just one lefty in the bullpen in veteran Tim Hill, with lefty pitchers Brent Headrick and Ryan Yarbrough not making the cut, along with right-handed hitting reserve outfielder Austin Slater.
