The Toronto Blue Jays look for the series sweep over the Los Angeles Angels today in the finale of a three game set at Rogers Centre. Blue Jays veteran Kevin Gausman is on the the bump versus Angels Lefty Tyler Anderson. First pitch is at 1:37 PM ET on Sportsnet and TVA Sports.

Los Angeles Angels (43-45, third in the AL West) vs. Toronto Blue Jays (49-38, first in the AL East)
Toronto is 51-38 overall and 31-16 at home. The Blue Jays have a 21-6 record in games when they hit at least two home runs.
Los Angeles has a 24-23 record in road games and a 43-45 record overall. The Angels have the ninth-best team slugging percentage in the majors at .409.

Kevin Gausman takes the hill on Sunday afternoon. In his last outing Gausman didn't factor into the decision in a 12-5 win over the Yankees, allowing two runs on six hits and four walks over five innings. He struck out three.
The veteran righty gave up two runs in the first inning but was able to escape any further damage despite constant traffic on the basepaths.
Gausman got the hook after 99 pitches (62 strikes) with the Jays ahead 4-2, but the bullpen let the lead slip away in the seventh inning before the offense erupted late.
It's the fifth time in his last six trips to the mound that Gausman's issued multiple free passes, a bumpy stretch in which he's posted a 5.18 ERA, 1.45 WHIP and 32:17 K:BB over 33 innings. He'll try to tighten things up today against the Angels.
Tyler Anderson gets the ball today for the Angels. In his last outing Anderson didn't factor into the decision against Atlanta, allowing four hits and two walks in six scoreless innings. He struck out seven.
The soft-throwing left-hander kept the Atlanta batters off balance throughout his outing, producing 15 whiffs enroute to matching a season high in punchouts.
It was also Anderson's first scoreless appearance since April 18 and his first quality start since May 27.
The veteran southpaw will take a 4.12 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 77:35 K:BB over 91.2 innings into start against the this afternoons start against the red-hot Blue Jays, who are hitting .289 versus left-handed pitching since and including May 28.

George Springer leads the Blue Jays with 16 home runs while slugging .513. Addison Barger is 13 for 41 with three home runs and ten RBIs over the past 10 games.
