Blue Jays option two more as roster crunch continues

Jimenez is in a bit of a weird spot for the Blue Jays. While he proved valuable for the Blue Jays last year for his ability to play both 2nd base and shortstop, he is seemingly blocked at both positions with a healthy Bo Bichette back at short and Andres Gimenez at second as part of their new-look infield.
He's also regressed offensively this spring. After appearing in 63 games in the majors for the Blue Jays last season, Jimenez hit 329 hit four home runs. However, he couldn't find the same success this spring, slashing just 192/.264/.269.
The Blue Jays lucked out when they were granted an extra option year on Jimenez in December as the Panamanian is a candidate to shuttle between Triple-A and the majors all season. He's a also a prime trade candidate. He's proved himself, now just needs regular playing time.
Loperfido, who was in in contention for the 4th outfielder spot, split last season between the Jays and
Houston Astros , playing a total of 83 games.
While he has shown to have a decent glove, the offence just hasn't been there. He had .197/.236/.343 splits with two home runs over 43 games with the Jays since coming over from Houston last year.
This spring hasn't been much better, with Loperfido hitting .176.
The Blue Jays have two Spring Training games left. More roster moves are expected in the coming days.
