Blue Jays' Trey Yesavage, other starters available out of bullpen for Game 7 of the World Series

The Toronto Blue Jays are leaving no stone unturned on baseball's final day of 2025.
After striking out 12 Dodger batters in Game 5, rookie starter Trey Yesavage will be ready and available out of the bullpen for Game 7.
Going a step further, manager John Schneider has said that Yesavage will "definitely" be part of the final game of the series.

While he has exclusively been a starter since his mid-September promotion to the bigs, Yesavage does have some experience pitching out of the bullpen; he made two relief appearances during his time with Triple-A Buffalo.
Starters Shane Bieber and Chris Bassitt also available out of the pen
In a press conference following Game 6, Schneider stated that both Yesavage and Game 4 starter Shane Bieber will be out in the bullpen waiting for the phone to ring. Having last pitched on Wednesday, Yesavage would likely be on a shorter leash, perhaps pitching only an inning.
The Jays have done well with their starters pitching out of the pen this offseason. Chris Bassitt has essentially become a set-up man, throwing 7.2 shutout innings over six appearances.
Kevin Gausman has also made one appearance out of the bullpen, picking up the win in Game 7 over the Seattle Mariners.
The Blue Jays won two World Series before without playing a seventh game.
This is a different team with a different story to tell and a final chapter still to be written on tonight.
One game to decide everything. One game for more magic to happen.
