The Toronto Blue Jays look to get even with the Pittsburgh Pirates in the second matchup of a three-game set at PNC Park.

Blue Jays veteran Max Scherzer takes the hill versus Pirates starter Mitch Keller. First pitch is at 6:40 PM ET on Sportsnet and TVA Sports.
The Blue Jays look to rebound from Monday's ugly 5-2 loss to the Pittsburgh Pirates.
While the Blue Jays matched up well against Pirates ace Paul Skenes, late game on field sloppiness and errors proved to be the factor in a winnable game.

Pitching Matchups and Overview

With Max Scherzer on the bump today the Pirates lineup will have their hands full.
Scherzer was outstanding on the mound in his last outing against the Chicago Cubs.
Scherzer threw five shutout innings before allowing a solo home run off the bat of Michael Busch.
Despite that, Scherzer still worked deep into this game and helped his team get the win.
He tossed seven innings, allowing one earned run on five hits, while striking out three batters.
Scherzer's counterpart Mitch Keller will have to be perfect to beat this potent Blue Jays lineup even without Vladimir Guerrero Jr.
In his last outing Keller (5-11) surrendered six runs on eight hits and two walks over four innings as the Pirates were downed 12-5 by the Brewers.
The right-hander couldn't stop Milwaukee from winning its 12th straight game, getting tagged for more than five runs for the first time since June 5 and getting handed his first loss since June 21.
Since the latter outing, Keller has posted a 4.34 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 39:15 K:BB through 47.2 innings over nine starts.
