The Toronto Blue Jays take on the Chicago White Sox in the second game of a three-game series this afternoon at Guaranteed Rate Field.

The Toronto Blue Jays will try to bounce back from a heartbreaking 5-4 walk off loss to the Chicago White Sox on Friday.
The biggest loss was Alejandro Kirk, who left yesterday's game in the 10th inning with a left thumb injury.
Blue Jays manager John Schneider will give an update on Kirk's status prior to today's game.
Toronto lefty reliever Mason Fluharty will make his first career start this afternoon in what looks to be the first bullpen game of the season.
White Sox righty Grant Taylor will toe the rubber for the south-siders.
First pitch is at 2:10 PM ET on Sportsnet and the Chicago Sports Network, with the radio call available on Sportsnet 590 The FAN.

Starting pitchers overview

Mason Fluharty toes the rubber for the Blue Jays this afternoon.
Fluharty, 24, has pitched 1.2 innings across four games this year, owning a 10.80 ERA with four strikeouts and no walks.
In his last two outings since getting hit with 2 come-backers, Fluharty made relief appearances in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Athletics and Tuesday's 5-1 win over the Rockies, recording three outs and allowing no runs on one hit between the two outings.
In his rookie season in 2025, the Lewes, Del., native owned a 4.44 ERA with 56 strikeouts and 24 walks across 52.2 innings in relief.
Grant Taylor gets the ball for the Chisox this afternoon.
The 23-year-old Taylor has tossed one inning in each of his first two appearances this season but is expected to eventually stretch out to cover multiple frames, as his goal is to reach 100 innings in 2026 before moving into the rotation in 2027.
The former top prospect returned from Tommy John surgery in 2025 and has shown improved velocity, but is still looking to harness his command in both early regular-season appearances.
