The Toronto Blue Jays take on the New York Yankees and Philadelphia Phillies in split-sqaud Grapefruit league action today.

Blue Jays ace Kevin Gausman takes the bump versus Yankees reliever Brent Headrick in game one at TD Ball Park in Dunedin. First Pitch 1:07 PM ET on Sportsnet and the Yes Network.
Kevin Gausman has looked like Kevin Gausman so far this spring.
It's only been two starts, but the Blue Jays ace is miles ahead of where he was this time last year, where his build-up toward the regular season was delayed by right shoulder fatigue - an injury that followed him for most of 2024.
Based on his promising showing in camp, the early signs point to Gausman enjoying a notable bounce-back campaign this season.

Blue Jays veteran Chris Bassitt is on the hill versus Phillies starter Aaron Nola in game two at BayCare Ballpark in Clearwater. First pitch 1:05 PM ET. This game will not be televised.
Bassitt gave up two hits and two walks over 4.2 scoreless innings in his last Grapefruit League game against the Twins. He struck out four.
While he didn't have to deal with any of Minnesota's biggest bats, like Byron Buxton or Royce Lewis, Bassitt had little trouble dispatching the lineup he did face.
The veteran righty built up to 71 pitches (46 strikes) in his longest outing of the spring, and he has a 10:6 K:BB through 9.2 Grapefruit League frames.
Bassitt will be counted on to provide length in the middle of the rotation after posting a 3.86 ERA and 1.31 WHIP in 371 innings over his first two campaigns with the Blue Jays.
