Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Eric Lauer married girlfriend Emily Dobbin this past weekend with several teammates in attendance.
Eric Lauer has become the latest member of the Toronto Blue Jays to tie the knot, when the pitcher married his partner Emily Dobbin over the weekend.
Several wives and girlfriends of Lauer's Toronto teammates shared photos and videos from the celebration on social media, offering glimpses of the festivities.
Lauer and Dobbin have been together since at least 2019, dating back to his time with the San Diego Padres.
The couple share a young son, Landon, who has appeared frequently in social media posts alongside Dobbin while cheering on the team during its memorable playoff run.
The wedding was held in Scottsdale, Arizona, at the Clayton House venue, with Blue Jays teammates Shane Bieber and Brendon Little among those in attendance.
Following the ceremony, the newlyweds shared a series of photos from the event, including a traditional wedding photo shoot.
Emily Little, wife of reliever Brendon Little, posted a photo of the couple beneath a sign reading «Better together,» captioning it, «Congratulations to the Lauers!»
Lauer's wedding continues a busy stretch of off-field celebrations for the Blue Jays
Fellow hurler Braydon Fisher kicked things off in November, marrying fiancée Brianna Ririe in a ceremony held in Montgomery, Texas, about 100 kilometres north of his hometown of League City.
Earlier this month, several members of the 2025 Blue Jays attended Bo Bichette's wedding, which took place just weeks before the star shortstop signed a three-year, $126-million deal with the New York Mets.
Bieber, Ernie Clement and Max Scherzer were among the guests as Bichette married longtime girlfriend Alexis.
The team's social calendar may not slow down anytime soon. Rookie standout Trey Yesavage and girlfriend Taylor Frick announced their engagement just weeks after the club's World Series run.
Meanwhile, Lauer and the Blue Jays are currently navigating the arbitration process as a deal couldn't be reached.
The 30-year-old has filed for a $5.75-million salary for the 2026 season, while Toronto has countered at $4.4 million.
Lauer earned $2.2 million during the 2025 campaign on a one-year contract.
