Yesterday's game against the Philadelphia Phillies ended on a sensational catch by RJ Schreck Now, the man he was traded for would like the credit.

Justin Turner played for the Toronto Blue Jays for the first half of the 2024 season, before being dealt to the Seattle Mariners in a deadline deal for the outfield prospect. After the Blue Jays' social media team posted a video clip of the play, Turner replied a terse two-word reply "You're welcome".
You're welcome
While Turner's playful retort was light-hearted and made in jest, it also wasn't made in response to a recent quote by Turner's teammate, pitcher Alek Manoah.
In a recent interview, the 2022 All-Star claimed he was big part of the Blue Jays run to the World Series last year, despite not having appeared in a major league game since August 10th, 2024.
Manoah, who signed a one-year deal with the Los Angeles Angels in December after a brief stint in the minors with the Atlanta Braves, was roundly criticized for his remarks, as it appeared he wanted to give himself credit where it wasn't earned.

Turner still looking for home in 2026

Turner meanwhile, is still looking for a place to call home in 2026, and is hopeful that someone will take a chance on a 40-year old back-up infielder.
Schreck, on the other hand, has been labelled a prospect to watch, has been a breakout star so far at camp, and has an outside chance at winning a roster spot.
If he does, it would be great to see Turner take credit for that as well.
