Jeff Kent is one of three players that will be immortalized by the Hall of Fame this summer. Now, we know what cap he will be wearing.

The National Baseball Hall of Fame released its logo selections on Tuesday and Kent, who debuted as a rookie with the Toronto Blue Jays in 1992, will be depicted wearing a San Francisco Giants hat.
Up until 2000, the cap selection was left up to the players. However, due to rumours and speculation that teams were offering potential Hall of Famers potential rewards for wearing their caps, the Hall now has the final say in cap selection, although the player is often consulted.
Although Kent played for six teams in his big league career, it makes sense that he will go in as a Giant, for whom he played for for six seasons, and is the club he is most closely associated with.
Capping it off: We have announced the cap selections that will appear on plaques for members of the Class of 2026.
Additionally, he had three of his five All-Star appearances with San Francisco, won three of four Silver Sluggers, his only MVP in 2000, and is a member of their Wall of Fame.
He was an All-Star once each with Houston and LA, and won his fourth silver slugger in his first season with the Dodgers.
He goes in with Carlos Beltran, who will be the third player inducted as a Met, and Andruw Jones, who joins a long list of Atlanta Braves, including seven from the famed 1996 team.

Kent made his major league debut with Toronto in 1992

Although he is going in with a team from his home state of California, Kent got his in the big leagues with Toronto, after he was called up at the beginning of the season.
He saw limited at-bats early on, before an injury to third baseman Kelly Gruber allowed him more playing time.
The Jays traded Kent to the Mets in late August for pitcher David Cone, in a famous move that helped solidify their first World Series victory.
The inductions take place on July 26th.
