Free agent shortstop Bo Bichette quietly got married in a private ceremony

Most baseball pundits and fans are wondering where the star shortstop is going to sign between now and Spring Training.

The New York Yankees, Boston Red Sox, Los Angeles Dodgers, Chicago Cubs, Philadelphia Phillies, and of course the Toronto Blue Jays have all been linked to the slugger.

However, it appears that all that is on hold for the moment as Bichette is a little busy right now.

Back in July Bo shared with Toronto Star columnist Rosi DiManno that he and his longtime girlfriend Alexis were engaged to be married in January. That day has come.

According to Taylor Gausman's Instagram and other Blue Jays wives, Bichette is now a married man.

Bichette is said to have married his fiancée Alexis over the weekend.

Kevin Gausman's wife, Taylor Gausman, took to Instagram to share a few photos to mark the occasion.

In addition to Taylor Gausman being in attendance, Jessica Bassitt, the wife of Blue Jays pitcher Chris Bassitt, also shared a different image on her Instagram stories.

Several Blue Jays wives and girlfriends are featured in the photos that presumably took place at Bichette's wedding.

While Bichette, 27, is known for his flashy on-field play, it doesn't always seem to translate to his off-field personality, as he's generally quite soft-spoken in interviews.

There's little that's known about the wedding otherwise, as the couple does not use social media.
