The Toronto Blue Jays defeated the St. Louis Cardinals 3-2 to improve 3-0 in Spring Training.

Max Scherzer started the game and went two innings. Over the course of 36 pitches, he gave up one hit and one run, while striking out four.
Bowden Francis also went two innings and gave up one hit on one run but didn't strike anybody out.
Michael Stefanic was the difference-maker, with a go-ahead RBI single in the bottom of the sixth inning after coming on as a replacement for Andres Gimenez.
Stefanic was also involved in the final play of the game, as Tyler Heineman threw a perfect strike to get Bryan Torres caught stealing to end the game.
Andres Gimenez and Alejandro Kirk also had RBI's for the Blue Jays, who win their third straight Spring Training game.
Top prospects Alan Roden and Orelvis Martinez both entered the game as substitutions, withRodentaking over in RF - before moving to in centre in the ninth inning - while Martinez got his first action at third base, a position he is expected to see more of this spring.
Both went 0-1 with a walk.
There was a bit of scary moment early on as Joey Loperfido, playing in CF, crashed into the wall chasing a fly ball off the bat of Victor Scott II, who led off the game.
While it appears that Loperfido didn't sustain a concussion, he was removed from the game as precaution with Neck soreness. Steward Berroa took over in centre.
The Blue Jays continue their Spring Training slate tomorrow against Philadelphia. Jose Berrios is scheduled to start.
