GM Meetings: Super-agent Scott Boras on Blue Jays and mildly entertaining puns

The tortured Scott Boras puns have become mildly entertaining at this point.
We expect them from the super-agent at the GM meetings, and he delivers the two-parts corny, one-part clever zingers while holding court with the media.
And, occasionally, he mixes in some actually useful info.
Boras spoke today at the GM Meetings in Las Vegas, and I'll start with the somewhat useful info:
«Toronto is one of the top four or five major markets in the major leagues, and I think we'll see the we'll see ownership commitment and every bit of behavior to support and advance that.»
Boras said that Japanese ace
Tatsuya Imai will be posted November 19, starting his 45-day window to sign with an MLB team.
The timing makes sense, coming a day after Qualifying Offer decisions are due (which clarifies the top of the market a bit), and will give Imai some time into the New Year to finalize a deal.
Scott Boras puns deliver little useful info to the media looking for free agent insight
As Boras fielded questions from the media about free agents he represents, he sounded more like a censored Andrew Dice Clay reciting limericks about his clients.
Scott Boras called Cody Bellinger «top gun of the class,» a «versatile viper» and a «middle-of-the-lineup merlin» who filled the role of «Ice Man» in New York because he «cooled» any concerns about hitting behind Aaron Judge.
«Unlike the other famous Dylan, this one is exclusively electric»
Reporters: Could the Red Sox bring
Alex Bregman back in free agency?
«No one wants a Breg-xit,» Scott Boras said.
«There's no doubt Pete's pursuers are primed to pay the power piper. Pete picked a perfect period to play preeminently at a primary position. A playoff parched plethora will pounce to participate in the Polar Plunge."
"The fans in Detroit want the Tigers to build a Tarik barrack. The Little Caesars are running around town saying, 'Cy! Cy!' ... It should be Scooby-done, right? If not, I think the fans would certainly think it's a Detroit doink."
Some reporters were getting visibly frustrated with Boras lack of real information and responding with child-like puns.
Like MLB.com's Keegan Matheson who covers the Blue Jays. He basically said what everyone was thinking.
Sorry, not interested in quotes relevant to the actual offseason and Toronto. Only here for the scripted, exhausting, overdone one-liners that mean absolutely nothing.
