Sotheby's, one of the largest auction houses in the world has authenticated the ball and is now accepting bids on their website. The current bid sits at $13000.
Sotheby's is proud to offer this historic baseball connected to one of the defining moments of the 2025 World Series: Addison Barger's pinch hit grand slam in Game 1 between the Toronto Blue Jays and the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Barger's slam became a signature moment of both game 1 and the Blue Jays World Series, exemplifying that they weren't the underdogs everyone made them out to be.
As with many memorabilia items placed up for auction, the baseball comes with a letter of authenticity for its previous owner.
This lot is accompanied by a letter of provenance by the consignor, who caught the ball at the game.

A Topps https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/m/mantlmi01.shtml card broke the record when it fetched a price of $12.6MM
The ball is available to purchase until December 12th.
