Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Anthony Santander has been playing left field and hitting second in the Buffalo Bisons starting lineup.
Santander spent seven innings in left field with the Bisons on Wednesday and didn't have a single ball hit his way. He'll DH with Buffalo this afternoon.
Santander will DH for Buffalo on Thursday
It's very likely he remains with Bisons through the end of their season on Sunday.
Santander has played six rehab games with Buffalo so far and saw his first action in the outfield
The Blue Jays are looking for 30-40 rehab at-bats for Anthony Santander. In 18, so far, he has a .808 OPS at AAA. Jays are looking at eye, swing speed, timing, etc.

Santander gets the Bisons in the hit column!
The 30-year-old who is 4-for-22 with one homer so far on his rehab assignment, has been sidelined since late May with a subluxation of his left shoulder.
Meanwhile, in Rochester... Anthony Santander just went deep!
Before hitting the injured list, Santander was slashing .179/.273/.304 with six homers in 50 games for the Blue Jays.
He'll aim to rejoin the Blue Jays' active roster for the final week of the regular season.
