					The Blue Jays announced Monday that left-handed reliever 
Ryan Borucki has been designated for assignment.
ROSTER MOVES: 
🔹 RHP Trey Yesavage selected to the Major League roster and will make his MLB debut tonight
🔹 LHP Ryan Borucki designated for assignment
Borucki, 31, was caught in a numbers game with Yesavage needing a spot on the 40-man roster.
News: The #BlueJays have DFA'd Ryan Borucki to make room for No. 1 prospect Trey Yesavage, who makes his MLB debut tonight.
In four games during his second stint with the Blue Jays this season, the lefty has blanked opponents through 4.1 innings, striking out five while allowing three hits and four walks.
Yesavage is set to make his debut later Monday when he starts against the Tampa Bay Rays.
The 2024 first-round pick has dominated at four minor-league levels in his first professional season, striking out 160 opponents over just 98 innings.

The 22-year-old holds a 3.12 ERA across all minor-league levels on the season.
