In celebration of the Toronto Blue Jays' 50th season, Rogers is giving away 500 tickets to the home opener this Friday and holding a contest for a chance to win one of six all-access experiences.
An opening night giveaway will be taking place for Blue Jays fans on Wednesday, March 25, at 11 a.m. in person and via an online contest, with further details set to be announced on Rogers' Instagram account.
The Toronto Blue Jays will kick off their season against the Athletics at 7:07 p.m. at the Rogers Centre, where an American League-winning pennant ceremony is set to take place in front of the home crowd ahead of the first pitch.
Game Day Owner contest now open to Blue Jays fans across Canada
Rogers is also launching a contest for an exclusive «Game Day Owner» experience for Blue Jays fans across Canada, along with a Canada's Winning Inning promotion throughout the milestone season.
If you've always dreamt of being an owner of the Toronto Blue Jays, a «once-in-a-lifetime» all-access ownership experience is up for grabs this season.
«Rogers is handing over ownership of Canada's Team to the people who helped build the franchise - the fans,» a Rogers press release reads.
The contest is available to all Blue Jays fans across Canada, with applications now open to win one of six exclusive Game Day Owner experiences.
Winners will have the opportunity to enjoy behind-the-scenes access to the Rogers Centre and the Blue Jays clubhouse, have a meet-and-greet with a Blue Jays player, sit in on Blue Jays manager media availability, get a signed team jersey and receive in-stadium recognition during the game.
Also included in the experience is the chance to watch a game in premium seats in the new Rogers Terrace, watching batting practice with unique pre-game on-field and dugout access, pitching team executives with your ideas for the franchise, a private Jays Shop shopping spree and travel and accommodations in Toronto, which include an iconic hotel room at the Rogers Centre.
The experience will be available for one of the following six home games:
- April 7 World Series Rematch vs. Dodgers
- May 9 Barbie Day vs. Angels
- June 13 ALDS Rematch vs. Yankees
- July 20 AL East Matchup vs. Rays
- Aug. 28 ALCS Rematch vs. Mariners
