Toronto Blue Jays make roster moves ahead of Red Sox series finale

The Toronto Blue Jays made a couple of roster moves ahead of the series finale against the Boston Red Sox.
As the Toronto Blue Jays get set to take on the Boston Red Sox on Sunday, their pitching depth gets a bit of a shakeup.
The team announced that right-handed pitcher Paxton Schultz has been placed on the 15-day injured list due to right finger inflammation.
Meanwhile, in a subsequent move, the Blue Jays have recalled left-hander Justin Bruihl from triple-A and he'll be active for Sunday's contest.
Schutlz made 12 appearances for Toronto this year prior to being sidelined, holding a 4.56 ERA and 1.44 WHIP through 23.2 innings pitched.
The 27-year-old has started two games and finished three for the Blue Jays throughout his first season in the majors.
His last appearance came in Friday's 15-1 drubbing at the hands of the Red Sox when Schultz lasted 1.1 innings, giving up five hits, including a home run, for three earned runs and a walk.
Meanwhile, Bruihl gets set for his second stint with the Blue Jays this season.
The 28-year-old lefty previously made two appearances for Toronto in mid-June games against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Bruihl did not allow a run and struck out four over his 2.2 innings with the Blue Jays this year. He holds a career 4.46 ERA and 1.26 WHIP over 78.2 innings.
The Blue Jays look to bounce back with a win in Sunday's rubber match at Fenway Park.
