Toronto Blue Jays manager John Schneider has mapped out his pitching plans for the club's next four Spring Training games, and several established veterans are set to take the mound.

Speaking to reporters Monday outside the Player Development Complex in Dunedin, Toronto Blue Jays manager John Schneider discussed both the arrival of Max Scherzer and how the rotation will line up over the coming days.
According to the skipper, Kevin Gausman, Dylan Cease, Jose Berrios and potentially Max Scherzer himself are all scheduled to make appearances this week.
Blue Jays upcoming probable pitchers

Tues Mar 3 vs CAN - Kevin Gausman
Weds Mar 4 - Off Day
Thurs Mar 5 @ ATL - Dylan Cease
Fri Mar 6 vs PIT - Jose Berrios followed by Eric Lauer in relief
Sat Mar 7 @ PHI - likely Max Scherzer

Blue Jays have an embarrassment of riches when it comes to starting pitching, fifth spot up for grabs

Gausman will get things started Tuesday in an exhibition matchup against Team Canada.
The right-hander looked sharp in his spring debut, striking out three batters against the Miami Marlins.
The Blue Jays have Wednesday off, but Cease is slated to return to the mound Thursday for his second outing of the spring when Toronto faces the Atlanta Braves.
In his debut Saturday, Cease recorded three strikeouts against the Philadelphia Phillies.
Berrios is also scheduled to pitch Thursday, marking his third start of camp, as he prepares to take on the Pittsburgh Pirates.
The veteran right-hander has shown steady progress with each outing this spring.
Left-hander Eric Lauer is expected to follow Berrios to continue building his workload.
Meanwhile, Scherzer has officially rejoined the team in Dunedin and could make his Spring Training debut Saturday against the Phillies, provided everything stays on track.
The future Hall of Famer demonstrated last postseason that he can still deliver at a high level, posting a 3.77 ERA across three playoff starts.
As he prepares for his 19th major league season, Scherzer remains a strong candidate to anchor Toronto's rotation and solidify his place among the club's top five starters.
