Toronto Blue Jays manager John Schneider gives pathetic excuse for 13-0 loss to the Rays

Following Sunday's 13-0 defeat to the Tampa Bay Rays on Sunday, the Toronto Blue Jays most lop-sided loss of the season, manager John Schneider spoke to media in Florida and lamented about the challenges of playing in excruciating conditions.
The game, played at Steinbrenner Field in temperatures that topped 32 degrees Fahrenheit but would have been significantly higher at field level, was clearly uncomfortable for both teams.
After the loss to the Rays, Schneider made some questionable points stating that fans were not too pleased with as he said that the team is better than how they played and that is all he had to say about the game.

The Blue Jays take on the Texas Rangers today and Schneider answered some questions before the game regarding yesterday's brutal loss to the Rays and it was just sad to hear.
When asked about the 13-0 loss, Schneider actually stated that the weather in Tampa which was extremely hot played a factor in the Blue Jays terrible performance on Sunday.
I'm genuinely stunned and don't trust the Blue Jays rollercoaster anymore.
While it was incredibly hot yesterday in Florida, both teams played in the same weather and the Rays were able to score 13 runs while Toronto did not manage to even get one.
At this point, fans are getting fed up with this manager as there always seems to be some kind of excuse that never makes much sense and Schneider never seems to have any sort of gameplan to turn things around.
It's gotten to the point where it's embarrassing to the team that he comes up with these lame excuses after a loss instead of simply keeping the players accountable.
Hopefully the players can bail him out because it seems like he has no plan on being part of the solution as of right now.
