Toronto Blue Jays manager John Schneider gave reporters an update on Bo Bichette's leg injury on Sunday.

The Blue Jays announced a couple days ago that despite limping off the field after colliding at home plate, Bichette's X-Rays came back negative.
The Blue Jays ended up with a tough series loss to the Yankees yesterday after falling to them 4-3 in the final game of the series.

Blue Jays manager John Schneider sheds some light on Bichette's status heading into the Astros series

After the game, Schneider spoke to the media stating that that Bichette missed the final game of the series because he was sore but added that he would not be taking any additional testing and they will see how he feels for Tuesday game.
"He's sore," -Schneider

"He woke up a little more sore," Schneider added, according to Chisholm. "So it's a timely off day for him and we'll see how he is Tuesday. Nothing additional, no further testing or anything." -Schneider

This is good news that Bichette does not seem to have any fractures and is most likely to play the Houston Astros tomorrow.

provides an update on Bo Bichette's status
Hopefully, Bichette truly is just a little sore and they want to give him a few extra days off to recover from the collision but they certainly need him back as soon as possible.
Bichette along with George Springer have arguably been the two best players for the Blue Jays this season.
So far this season, Bichette has an MLB leading 181 hits with 18 homeruns, 93 RBIs, a .311 batting average and .357 on base percentage all in a total of 139 games on the season.
The Blue Jays still have first place secured for now despite the series loss to the Yankees but will need to finish over .500 from now until the end of the season if they plan on holding onto first place.
