Toronto Blue Jays infield prospect JoJo Parker is quickly proving he’s the real deal.
At just 19 years old, JoJo Parker is showing exactly why the Toronto Blue Jays selected him eighth overall in the 2025 draft out of high school.
The Dunedin Blue Jays put on an offensive display Saturday night, launching three home runs and collecting 14 hits in an 8–5 victory over the Clearwater Threshers at TD Ballpark.
Through their first 14 games, Dunedin has hit 17 home runs—leading the Florida State League and ranking fourth among all 30 Class-A teams.
It’s also the highest home run total the club has recorded through 14 games in the MLB Stat Portal era (since 2005).
Parker played a key role in the win, going 2-for-4 with a home run, double, RBI, walk, and a run scored.
He opened the game with a double in the first inning before launching his second professional home run in the third, going back-to-back with Dariel Ramon.
His solo shot came off the bat at 101.4 mph and traveled 362 feet.

Parker off to a hot start in Single-A Dunedin
The Blue Jays’ No. 2 prospect has now reached base in 11 consecutive games.
During that stretch, he’s hitting .308 with two home runs, 11 RBIs, eight runs scored, and a 1.106 OPS. He’s also recorded hits in eight of his last nine games.
Listed at 6-foot-2 and 200 pounds, Parker is known for his smooth, left-handed swing and an impressive blend of contact ability and raw power.
The Purvis High School product signed with Toronto for a $6.2 million bonus, slightly below slot value.
He was named the 2025 Gatorade Mississippi Baseball Player of the Year and shared the state’s “Mr. Baseball” honors with his twin brother, Jacob Parker.
Primarily a shortstop, Parker has recently seen time at third base following the arrival of No. 7 prospect Juan Sanchez, a move many evaluators anticipated due to his size and arm strength.
The Blue Jays organization has high hopes for Parker and Sanchez as a potential cornerstone duo in the infield.
Their development will be one to watch closely as they continue to rise through the system in 2026.
