Deception and consistency has been Rogers calling card so far in MLB
Rogers has emerged as one of baseball's most consistent relievers since locking down a spot in the Giants' bullpen.
Since 2021, he has a 2.71 ERA, 16 saves and 263 strikeouts over 378.1 innings.
«He's a specialist - it's enough of a puzzle every time he goes up to make him a good reliever.»
To make room for Rogers on the 40-man roster, the Blue Jays designated Justin Bruihl for assignment.
The right-hander joins Dylan Cease, Cody Ponce and Chase Lee as pitching help the Blue Jays have acquired following their run to Game 7 of the World Series.
