Toronto Blue Jays option Brenden Little to Triple-A Buffalo, call up Joe Mantiply, Austin Voth

The Toronto Blue Jays have option left-handed reliever Brendon Little to Triple-A Buffalo ahead of finale against Chicago White Sox.

The Toronto Blue Jays announced that they have optioned left-handed reliever Brendon Little, and right-handed pitcher Lazaro Estrada to Triple-A Buffalo.
In a corresponding move they selected Left-handed pitcher Joe Mantiply and right-hander Austin Voth to the big league roster
Right handed pitcher Cody Ponce (ACL Sprain) was transferred to the 60-Day IL along with outfielder Anthony Santander (Shoulder).

🔹 RHP Cody Ponce and OF Anthony Santander transferred to 60-day IL
Little, 29, has been brutal out of the gate for the Blue Jays, with two blown saves and two losses in five appearances.
He has an earned-run average of 24.55 through 3.2 innings pitched, and his 10 earned runs allowed lead all relievers by a wide margin in the second week of the regular season.
Estrada pitched four scoreless innings in a bulk relief role in Saturday’s loss, his only appearance of the regular season.
Mantiply, 34, made his last pitching appearance in the major on May 13 with the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2025.
He pitched in 15 games in the minors in the Blue Jays system last season after he was claimed on waivers, and held a 3.45 ERA over 15.2 innings with the Triple A Buffalo Bisons.
Mantiply has a career ERA of 4.54 over eight big-league seasons split between the Detroit Tigers, New York Yankees and Diamondbacks.
The lefty was an All-Star in 2022, but held an ERA of 15.83 over 10 appearances with the Diamondbacks last season.
Voth, 33, last pitched in the majors with the Seattle Mariners in 2024. The righty has a career ERA of 4.70 over seven big-league seasons with the Washington Nationals, Baltimore Orioles and the Mariners.
Toronto has lost three consecutive games entering Sunday’s series finale against the White Sox, and sit at 4-4 on the young season.
