Today, we're highlighting some of the top prospects to keep an eye on as the Toronto Blue Jays face the Philadelphia Phillies in the Spring Breakout game.

It's impossible to predict who might rise to the occasion in a major-league ballpark later this summer-or even sooner.
With that in mind, here are a few names worth watching as the Blue Jays take the field. You can see todays starting lineup HERE.
Stanifer found another gear in 2024 after refining his mechanics and improving his movement patterns, leading to a noticeable jump in velocity.
That progress carried into a breakout 2025 season, where he advanced from Single-A to Double-A and posted a 2.86 ERA across 110 innings.
He also struck out an impressive 35.5 percent of the hitters he faced, establishing himself as a pitcher to watch.
Valenzuela has been one of the more encouraging stories in Blue Jays camp.
He capitalized on increased playing time when Alejandro Kirk departed for the World Baseball Classic, showcasing the strong defensive skills and underrated power that made him an appealing acquisition at last year's trade deadline.
Nimmala, the club's starting shortstop today, will be under close scrutiny this season as he looks to rebound from a challenging 2025 campaign.
The 2023 first-round pick got off to a promising start in High-A, especially impressive given he was more than three years younger than the average player, but struggled to maintain that momentum as the season progressed and opposing teams adjusted..
Remember these prospect names 👀 JoJo Parker and Juan Sanchez ⭐️ #SpringBreakout
When 2024 first-round pick JoJo Parker takes over at shortstop midway through today's game, it will mark one of the first opportunities to see the 19-year-old in a more competitive setting beyond backfield action.
The left-handed hitter has already generated buzz with his exit velocity, and while he's just beginning his professional journey, his upside makes him a compelling player to follow.
Almost Juan Sanchez time⏰ The Blue Jays No. 7 prospect makes his stateside debut in today's Spring Breakout game!
Sanchez is another young talent worth noting. Slated to replace third baseman Charles McAdoo during the game, the 18-year-old will be making his North American debut after a dominant showing in the Dominican Summer League, where he posted a .341/.439/.565 slash line and a 156 wRC+.
Yohendrick Pinango and RJ Schreck are both considered close to MLB-ready, though opinions differ on who has the edge.
Pinango brings greater offensive upside, highlighted by elite exit velocity metrics at Triple-A last season, along with some of the best raw power in the system.
Schreck, meanwhile, is viewed as the more complete player, combining a disciplined approach at the plate with strong defense and solid baserunning.
There's a strong chance both players make their way to the majors at some point in 2026.
