The Toronto Blue Jays have signed top South Korean right-handed pitcher Seo-jun Moon from the KBO draft.

The Blue Jays aren't done adding to their revamped farm system.
Toronto has reached an agreement with South Korean pitching prospect Seo-jun Moon, on a deal including a $1.5-million signing bonus, Sportsnet's Arden Zwelling reports.
Source tells me & @ShiDavidi Blue Jays have reached agreement with 18-yo South Korean RHP Seojun Moon; $1.5 million bonus, pending physical.@francysromeroFR was on it. Low-90's FB that's touched 95; advanced ability to spin the ball. Described as projectable & strong competitor.
The 18-year-old right-hander is listed at six-foot-five and has a low 90s fastball that touches 95 m.p.h. and owns advanced ability to spin the ball, according to Zwelling.
RHP Moon Seo-joon, my #1 ranked pitching prospect, and #2 ranked overall prospect in the upcoming KBO draft, is signing with the Blue Jays, for an incredible fee of $1M from the Jays IFA pool, which is a significant statement of intent, for a pitcher out of HS.
Moon is considered one of the best Korean pitching prospects and chose to forego the KBO draft in September to sign with an MLB club.
He joins 17-year-old Dominican shortstops Cristopher Polanco and Juan Sanchez as splash additions to their 2025 international class.
The Blue Jays initially had just over $6 million in international pool money for '25 before acquiring an additional $2 million in the deal with the Cleveland Guardians for Myles Straw.
Toronto's farm system is now ranked 20th according to MLB Pipeline, they came into the season sitting near the bottom of the league at 27th.
