The Toronto Blue Jays have added some pitching depth by signing veteran right-hander Austin Voth to a minor league deal.
According to the team's official transactions log, the Toronto Blue Jays have signed right-handed pitcher Austin Voth to a minor-league contract on Wednesday.
Voth joins the organization shortly after being released by the Chicago White Sox, where he had been in camp on a spring training contract but did not make the Opening Day roster.
Now 33, Voth brings more than five years of major league experience. He spent the 2025 season overseas with the Chiba Lotte Marines in Japan.

Voth likely will open the season in Triple-A Buffalo
During his MLB career, he has suited up for the Washington Nationals, Baltimore Orioles, and Seattle Mariners, compiling a 4.70 ERA across 360⅓ innings.
Most of his 207 appearances have come in relief, with 168 outings out of the bullpen.
Voth is generally known as a fly-ball pitcher, with fairly average strikeout and walk numbers throughout his big league tenure.
His time with Chicago this spring was brief—just two innings—where he allowed one run while recording two strikeouts and no walks.
After opting out of his previous minor league deal, Voth now lands with a Toronto club expected to be more competitive in the American League.
That said, stronger competition could also make it more challenging for him to earn a spot on the major league roster.
While this signing may not draw much attention initially, veteran pitchers have increasingly found success after small adjustments or a change in environment.
Voth will likely open the season with Triple-A Buffalo, making him a player worth keeping an eye on early in the year.
