Here are the latest updates on the progress of Toronto Blue Jays centerfielder Daulton Varsho, starter Max Scherzer and Vladimir Guerrero Jr talks.
The Baltimore Orioles descend on TD Ballpark to take on the Toronto Blue Jays in the battle of the birds in Dunedin today.
Blue Jays prospect Easton Lucas faces Orioles rookie Cade Povich this afternoon. First pitch 1:07 PM ET on Sportsnet.
According to MLB.com's Keegan Matheson Daulton Varsho was throwing around 105ft today, similar to recent days.
Varsho has two weeks until Opening Day. It's still very possible he needs some extra time to ramp up his throwing all the way, but given how complicated shoulder rehabs can be, he's in a fine spot.
Max Scherzer (right thumb) had an MRI and there was nothing serious found.

He's playing catch and will be back on a mound tomorrow or the next day. Good news for the Blue Jays.
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. declined to speak with Toronto media in Dunedin this morning about his contract negotiations.

Blue Jays manager John Schneider addressed it, reiterating that Vladdy is focused on the season and handling all of this well.
