What does a professional mascot do when the home team is out of town? In the frigid temperatures currently blanketing the northeast, what does Ace do to stay warm? Collaborate with a local rapper and Internet personality of course.

Earlier in the week, with the Blue Jays on the road against New York and Boston, the beloved and longtime Jays mascot Ace teamed up with rapper and renowned Blue Jays super-fan Connor Price, while the latter played to sold out crowd in his hometown.
Price, a former child actor who appeared in such films as Men With Brooms, Good Luck Chuck, Cinderella Man, and A History of Violence, turned his attention to music about ten years ago. His song "Spin the Globe" now has over 400 million plays on Spotify.
In a post on Price's Instagram, he laments the fact that his DJ hasn't shown up and consequently he will not be able to his show. Fortunately, Ace appears, holding up a sign and telling Price that he can step in. He even wore a city connect jersey for the occasion.
While Ace doesn't get the same amount of love as other team representatives such as the Philly Phanatic, Mr. Met, or the San Diego Chicken, he is nonetheless a very important of the Blue Jays history and culture.
While Ace has only been a part of the Blue Jays - after replacing BJ Birdy prior to the 2000 season - he remains extremely popular with fans, and especially with children. Connor Price, his wife Breanna, and his team know that, they respect that.
This isn't the rapper's first time dealing with the Blue Jays. In a May 31st game last year, Price threw out the first pitch at Rogers Centre, partially to celebrate the success of 'Spin The Globe'.
Who needs Drake when you have Connor Price?
