FOX broadcast announcer Joe Davis was not a fan of Los Angeles Dodgers fans cheering Toronto Blue Jays DH George Springer's injury, as he quickly blasted those in attendance during the broadcast.

The Dodgers took a 2-1 World Series lead over the Toronto Blue Jays with an 18 inning marathon win on Monday.
Freddie Freeman sent the home crowd happy with a walk-off home run.
That, unfortunately, wasn't the only moment that sparked cheers from the Dodger faithful.
Fans were scolded on the air for their reaction to George Springer's seventh-inning exit.
Springer is used to being booed in opposing ballparks. The hate stems from his time with the Houston Astros.
Springer signed with the Blue Jays ahead of the 2021 MLB season. He's in the midst of his best year in Toronto in 2025.
The slugger is hitting a career-high .309 with 32 homers, 84 RBIs, and 18 stolen bases. He's also fielding at a .988 clip.
Despite the Toronto affiliation, Los Angeles has not forgotten about his past with the Astros. They let him hear it as he entered Dodger Stadium for the first time.
George Springer gets loud boos from the Dodgers crowd
Springer was not-so-warmly welcomed each time he stepped up to the dish. That included during a seventh inning at-bat with the contest tied at 4-4.
The outfielder was initially booed. That response was to be expected. After swinging at the first pitch, however, he felt some discomfort in his right side.
Springer exited the game with an injury mid at-bat. Dodger fans celebrated that departure.

Fox broadcast announcer Joe Davis blasted the Dodger fanbase on air

The FOX broadcast announcer was not a fan of the reaction. He quickly blasted those in attendance.
«This (injury) is going to take him out of the game,» he said while watching along. «This should not be cheered, ever, under any circumstances, no matter the history.»

It is not the first time fans have cheered while seeing George Springer hurt.
During the ALCS, Seattle supporters responded in a similar fashion after the outfielder was hit by a pitch.
That reaction could be heard as Springer lay on the ground in the batter's box.
He later served up a cold dish of karma, ending the Mariners' season with a three-run homer to send the Blue Jays to the World Series.
