It appears Cody Bellinger's time with the New York Yankees is over, and they'll look at free agents Bo Bichette and Kyle Tucker to augment their roster.
Contract negotiations between the Yankees and Cody Bellinger are at an impasse, according to a report from ESPN's Buster Olney.
The Yankees were hoping to re-sign the veteran outfielder, who played well for them last season, but are now operating under the assumption that Bellinger is going to sign elsewhere. New York is now seeking additions elsewhere, writes Olney.

The Yankees offered Bellinger a five-year deal for at least $30 million per season, writes Olney, which falls in the range of deals that other star hitters received this winter.
Bellinger's camp, represented by Scott Boras, is seeking a deal longer than five years, and worth more in average annual value than the $30 million per season he's been offered.

The Yankees have remained engaged in conversations for infielder Bo Bichette, and outfielder Kyle Tucker, and as they have haggled in the Bellinger negotiations, they have also engaged other teams about trade possibilities.
However, if the Yankees wouldn't give Bellinger the money or term he and Boras are seeking, the Yankees probably wont accommodate Tucker's camp either.
Even with the Bellinger negotiations at an impasse, the Yankees are not sitting on their hands, and the club is exploring the electric right-handed bat of Blue Jays infielder Bo Bichette.
The Yankees are looking "more seriously" at Bo Bichette, per Jon Heyman
At the age of 27, Bichette presents a chance for the Yankees to add a long-term building block around Aaron Judge, who can move all over the infield.
