The American media and the sports world were a little surprised with the Toronto Blue Jays Game 1 win over New York Yankees.

For the first time since 2016, the Blue Jays have won a post-season game.
Seeking their first win in 2,545 days, the Jays' bats exploded with 10 runs on 14 hits in a 10-1 victory over the New York Yankees in Game 1 of the American League Division Series.
I think MLB insider and New York Post columnist Jon Heyman was more impressed with the Rogers Centre's upgrades than the game itself.
Rogers Centre is beautiful. A belated congrats for all the improvements (I hadn't been here since Joe Carter). Also: It's the one stadium with good food in the press room.

American media continues to view the Blue Jays as postseason underdogs

With one win in the books, here's a look at how the sports world reacted to Toronto's victory.
The folks at Jomboy Media (who are also die hard Yankee fans) reacting to Yankees superstar Aaron Judge striking out with the bases loaded is everything.
Yankees fans are gonna be thinking about this Aaron Judge swing a lot tonight if they don't come back.
MLB insider and ESPN columnist Jeff Passan thinks the Blue Jays have a good shot at winning the World Series.
MLB insider and New York Post columnist Joel Sherman days that if Judge and Stanton don't hit home runs, it's over for the Yankees.
"The Yankees' identity is to hit homers and if Judge and Stanton stay off that board and Toronto wins the long ball battle trouble."
Major league baseball called the Blue Jays win over the Yankees dominant.
A dominant showing from the Blue Jays in Game 1!
Who's going to tell Aaron Boone they don't look like a good team today...
Game two between the Blue Jays and Yankees should be very interesting with rookie sensation Trey Yesavage on the mound.
I have a feeling that there will be a lot of awkward Yankees swings as they try to figure hime out.
