Toronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Alek Manoah showed positive strides of improvement in his second Tripe-A start in Buffalo on Wednesday.

The Blue Jays righty made another start with the Buffalo Bisons on Wednesday, taking on the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders.
He lasted 4.2 innings and gave up one earned run, while striking out four and walking two against the New York Yankees' top farm club.
A 90.7 mph sinker from Manoah to end the top of the 3rd!!
His lone earned run came on a homer in the top of the first to Spencer Jones.
He also managed to escape a jam in the top of the second inning. The RailRiders loaded the bases off two walks and a single, but Manoah forced a fly out on Jorbit Vivas to end the threat.
It was a big improvement on his outing from last week, which saw him last only 1.2 innings after getting tagged for three earned runs on two hits, three walks and one hit by pitch.
Back-To-Back K's from Manoah in the top of the 5th!!
After throwing only 49 pitches in his first triple-A game in 2025, Manoah tossed 75 this time around - 44 of which were for strikes. His fastball sat around 91 m.p.h, a similar mark to his last outing.
Overall, it was the longest Manoah has lasted on the mound since beginning his rehab assignment in mid-July.
Manoah underwent UCL reconstruction last season after a five-game return to the big leagues in which he posted a 3.70 ERA over 24.1 innings.
His 30-day rehab clock began with a single-A start on July 22.
The 27-year-old finished as a Cy Young Award runner-up in 2022 before struggling through 2023, where he shuttled between the minors and majors.
Since his dominant 2022 season, Manoah has thrown only 111.2 innings for the Blue Jays, holding a 5.40 ERA.
Former Blue Jay Ryan Yarbrough, on a rehab assignment for the Yankees, started Wednesday's game for the RailRiders. He gave up two runs on three hits in 3.1 innings

Do you think the Blue Jays should just keep Alek Manoah in Buffalo until he is 100% rehabilitated?
