Blue Jays' dad defends Alejandro Kirk amid article on J.T. Realmuto

Steve Schneider is becoming quite the Toronto Blue Jays analyst,
The baseball fan and dad to Davis Schneider has taken up his mantra as defender of all, and the baseball dad of all baseball dads
And because he is the ultimate dad, not just to his son Davis, rather he is the father of All Blue Jays,
Case in point, Alejandro Kirk.
The Blue Jays were somewhat criticized for not making a push for free agent All-Star catcher J.T. Realmuto. With the Blue Jays seemingly connected to everyone all the time, it would make sense to some that the Blue Jays might pursue that route.
Not so, says Steve Schneider.
"Because we have the best catcher in the American League and a good back up switch hitting catcher who also throws in relief and can pull a 🐇 out of a 🎩"
Quite right.
J.T Realmuto once insulted Canadians
Beyond Schneider's statement that the Blue Jays have the best catcher in the game, Realmuto hasn't exactly endeared himself to Canadians.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Realmuto was one of several player who missed his team's series in Toronto, unable to cross the border due to his unvaccinated status. His response didn't make him any fans up north...
«I'm not going to let Canada tell me what I do and don't put in my body.»
At the the time, he was one of four Philadelphia Phillies that missed a two-game series at Rogers Centre.
Either way, it seems as though Steve Schneider might be onto something.
