Blue Jays' Kevin Gausman goes viral over an issue with the city of Toronto

Since signing a five-year deal with the Blue Jays prior to the 2021 season, Gausman has developed into a fan favourite, while finishing top 10 in American League Cy Young votes on two occasions already.

But on Monday, after returning home from a six-game road trip in Los Angeles and Colorado, Gausman shared a bit of frustration with the city's parking scene.

The post immediately grabbed the Internet's attention and has been viewed more than 380,000 times on the social platform and elicited hundreds of replies.

Former Blue Jay Justin Turner replied with laughing emojis while another user quipped, «lol bro. You forget where you are?»

The Colorado-born pitcher has been known for his comedic takes on social media.

In June, he took to X to ask if anyone knew where he could find a flamethrower in Toronto.

But he's also been wholesome about his time in Toronto, too.

«I hate seeing people talk sh*t about Toronto like they know it. If you live in Toronto, you know how special of a place it is and how passionate the people are,» Gausman wrote on X back in 2023.

After pushing his record to 8-8 on the season last week in the Jays' 20-1 demolition of the Colorado Rockies, Gausman is slated be back on the mound for Wednesday night's game against the Chicago Cubs.

He'll be up against Cade Horton with first pitch set for 7:07 p.m.
