The Blue Jays seem to have avoided serious injury to one of their most valuable players.

In a scary moment in the top of 7th inning in Game 5 of the ALCS against the Seattle Mariners, George Springer was hit in the knee on an errant pitch from the Mariners' Bryan Woo. The contact was so loud that it registered as 5mph on StatCast.
Oh, man. George Springer was just hit on the right knee and he's down in serious pain
Blue Jays Nation held its collective breath as Springer remained down for several minutes, being looked over by manager John Schneider and head trainer Jose Ministral.
After doing his best to stay in the game, he was removed in favour of pinch runner Joey Loperfido, who was just added to the roster on Thursday. Helped off the field as he limped back to the dugout, he immediately went to the trainers room.
Now, the Blue Jays have offered an update.
Mitch Bannon of the Athletic reports that X-Rays were done on Springer's knee and that they came back negative.
Blue Jays X Rays were negative on George Springer's knee, Schneider said.
This means that, with the off-day on Saturday, Springer could return to the lineup for Game 6 at Rogers Centre.

Springer has been a spark plug all season long

Even if he is not at 100%, Springer will do all he can to convince Schneider that is able to play Sunday. Give that he is the DH and doesn't have to play the field, might sway Schneider's hand somewhat.
If it is determined that is he unable to play, it is likely that Loperfido or Davis Schneider will get a start in his place.
