'Classless' Yankees fans slammed for booing Canadian national anthem ahead of Game 3 of the ALDS

Loud boos were heard throughout Yankee Stadium as 'Oh Canada' was played before Game 3 of the American League Division Series between the Toronto Blue Jays and New York Yankees.
Yankees fans didn't even wait until the game started before booing the Blue Jays.
The booing started as anthem singer Graham Rowat was introduced on Tuesday night by the stadium PA announcer.
The boos got louder as the Broadway actor gave his rendition of the Canadian national anthem.

Yankees supporters were branded 'classless' and 'pathetic' after footage showed the rendition of 'O Canada' being drowned out by boos.
'Classless. You didn't see Canadians doing it during this series,' one fan said on social media. 'I thought Toronto and NY were friends. Now we're enemies,' wrote another.
A third fan called the Yankees supporters 'pathetic' while a fourth added: 'Classless f****. Wouldn't expect anything less.'
Some Blue Jays fans inside Yankee Stadium tried, and failed to mask the boos with cheers. And when Rowat finished 'O Canada,' chants of 'U-S-A, U-S-A' could be heard.
Yankees fans had plenty to boo shortly after the anthem, too, as Blue Jays star slugger Vladimir Guerrero Jr. launched his third home run of the series to give Toronto a 2-0 lead in the top of the first inning while receiving his own Bronx cheer.
Toronto won the first two games of the series at home at the Rogers Centre, and has a chance to advance to the American League Championship Series for the first time since 2016 with one more victory.
Hopefully Toronto can win game 4 of the ALDS on Wednesday night at Yankee stadium. Maybe Yankees fans will stay classy this time during 'Oh Canada', but somehow I doubt it.
