Former Boston Red Sox legend David Ortiz basked in the New York Yankees misery after getting eviscerated in Game 2 of the ALDS by the Toronto Blue Jays on Sunday night.

With a commanding 2-0 lead in the best-of-five American League Division Series as action shifts back to the Bronx on Tuesday.
The New York Post's banner back page headline read «D'Oh Canada» with the underline «Bombers blasted again north of the border, leaving season on life support.»

Yankees' season on brink after blowout loss to Blue Jays in Game 2
Red Sox legend David Ortiz torched the Blue Jays more than any other player in franchise history in his playing days.
Big Papi hit . 278 with 258 hits, 62 home runs, 192 RBIs and 159 runs scored in 251 games against the Blue Jays in his career.
The Blue Jays also donated $10,000 to the David Ortiz Children's Fund. Now that's respect.

Big Papi laughed at former Yankees Derek Jeter and A-Rod over the Bronx Bombers chances against the Blue Jays

David Ortiz was more than happy to poke fun at his arch-rival, the Yankees, on Sunday after the Bronx Bombers found themselves down 0-2 in the ALDS to the Blue Jays.
Sitting between Yankee greats Derek Jeter and Alex Rodriguez on the MLB on Fox set, the Red Sox legand had some fun with the moment by needling the two over the Yankees' chances of rallying to win the series after their 13-7 Game 2 loss at Rogers Centre.
«The only chance the Yankees have is if you, Mariano Rivera, Andy Pettite and A-Rod come back and play. Reggie Jackson, Babe Ruth - all of them»
Alex Rodriguez was more optimistic on the Yankees chances of making a comeback in the series, but Ortiz just laughed it off and quipped:
«They can bring Jesus back, and they're still going to Cancun. It's over. It's a wrap.»
At this point, the Yankees will certainly have to channel the spirit of the franchise's past playoff heroes to rescue what would be another playoff exit.
Game three of the ALDS is at Yankee stadium on Tuesday at 8:08 PM ET. Carlos Rodon takes the hill versus Blue Jays veteran Shane Bieber.
