Davis Schneider relishing his everyman role with the Toronto Blue Jays

After some back-and-forth struggles, it would appear that Davis Schneider has found a rhythm and a home.
The one they the call the babe has had somewhat of a resurgence this season, hitting 11 home runs to go along with 31 RBIs in 76 games. Most importantly though, is his OBP, which has improved drastically to .365.
It's a far cry from 2024, a season in which he hit just .191.
A unique personality, Schneider has played LF and 2B for the Blue Jays this season and also appeared at 3B during Spring Training. According to teammates however, he'd be ready to play centre if asked.

In spite of not being an everyday player, Schneider acknowledges going further than most in an effort to stay ready.

I don't have that many at-bats, but there's always got to be that guy on the team that plays whenever he can - and I love playing for this team. So, I've always got to be ready to go.

Schneider's unique hitting profile sees him utilized as a right-handed hitting power bat off the bench, a role he is understanding more and more.
While lesser men might have fallen, Babe Schneider has taken it in stride.
