The Toronto Blue Jays set an unusual MLB record on Sunday.

Jakob Marsee hit a bases-loaded triple and Eury Pérez pitched three-hit ball into the seventh inning to lead the Miami Marlins past the Toronto Blue Jays 5-3 on Sunday.
The Blue Jays threatened in the eighth when Bachar issued two-out walks to Nathan Lukes and Bo Bichette.
Lake Bachar inherited two runners from Pérez in the seventh and allowed Daulton Varsho's three-run homer that pulled the AL East-leading Blue Jays to 4-3.
Varsho, who struck out twice in two at-bats against Pérez, sent a 424-foot drive over the centre-field wall for his 15th homer.
Ronny Henriquez relieved and retired pinch-hitter Vladimir Guerrero Jr. on a pop-up in the slugger's first appearance of the series.
Guerrero missed the previous four games because of hamstring inflammation.

The Blue Jays are the only team in modern era history to earn the following statistic listed below

The Blue Jays were unable to secure a sweep over the Miami Marlins this weekend, but they did make MLB history with one of their victories.
Saturday night was a stressful one for the Blue Jays. Despite holding a 4-3 lead in the ninth inning, they allowed the Marlins to come back and tie it up, sending the game to extra innings.
Toronto would subsequently grab back the lead in the 10th and 11th innings as well, with the Marlins coming back to tie each time.
It wasn't until the 12th inning that the Blue Jays finally found a way to hold onto a lead and win the game by a score of 7-6.
It turns out that the Jays actually made history with that stressful victory as they became the first team in the MLB modern era to blow separate leads in the ninth, 10th, and 11th innings and still find a way to get the win.
The Blue Jays are the only MLB team in the modern era to blow a lead in the 9th, 10th and 11th innings but still win the game.
While the win can't quite be considered a comeback victory since the Marlins never had a lead, it's about as close to one as you can get.
The Blue Jays have been very comfortable playing in uncomfortable situations this season.
They sit tied for the MLB lead in comeback wins this season with 39 alongside the LA Dodgers.
Three of those have come in the ninth inning, which is tied for fourth in the major leagues.
RHP Max Scherzer (4-2, 3.60 ERA) starts the opener of Toronto's three-game home series against Minnesota on Monday. RHP Joe Ryan (12-6, 2.77) goes for the Twins.
