Ernie Clement and Vladimir Guerrero Jr go above and beyond for Blue Jays fans at Fenway
Prior to games, especially when at home, it is normal to see players take the time after batting practice to talk to a few fans or sign some autographs but it is a lot less common when they are the visiting team on the road.
Before the game at Fenway this afternoon, Guerrero spotted a young fan in the stands and took the time to go give him a baseball that he snuck under the netting.
This young fan is celebrating his birthday at the park. 🥹 Vladdy gave him a ball to make the day extra special!
Ernie Clement also spotted a couple young fans and followed Guerrero's lead as he signed a few baseballs just before the game started.
These type of moments are very important for those young fans as these types of small gestures are what turn kids into life long Blue Jays fans for something that took the player just a few seconds.
While some might think this is nothing, that small gesture probably was one of the biggest moments in these kids lives.
