A comprehensive guide to Toronto Blue Jays Spring Training in 2026.

Spring Training is right around the corner, and with players reporting to Dunedin, Florida, the spotlight is once again on the Toronto Blue Jays as preparations begin for the 2026 season.
Below is everything you need to know as camp gets underway.
Pitchers and catchers officially report on Wednesday, February 11, though several players have already arrived at the Blue Jays’ Dunedin complex to get an early start on their workouts.
The first full-squad workout is scheduled for Monday, February 16.

As is often the case, many position players are already in town and training ahead of schedule, especially those who reside in the area during the offseason.
Toronto splits its spring operations between two facilities in Dunedin.
The recently renovated player development complex is located at 3031 Garrison Rd.
TD Ballpark, where Grapefruit League games are played, sits at 373 Douglas Ave.
The two locations are just over three miles apart, typically about a 10-minute drive.

Out with the old in with the new

This spring will feel different, as longtime faces like Bo Bichette and Chris Bassitt are no longer with the club.
The Blue Jays were aggressive this offseason, bringing in several high-profile additions.
The biggest splash came with Dylan Cease, who signed a seven-year, $210 million contract, the largest free-agent deal in franchise history.
He’ll be joined in the rotation by Cody Ponce, who inked a three-year, $30 million deal after revitalizing his career overseas in Japan and Korea.
In the bullpen, Tyler Rogers headlines the new arrivals. His extreme submarine delivery makes him one of the most distinctive pitchers in baseball—and impossible to miss.
The most intriguing newcomer, however, may be Kazuma Okamoto.
The former Yomiuri Giants star is making the jump to Major League Baseball, and the Blue Jays are counting on his bat to help offset some of the production lost with Bichette’s departure.
How quickly Okamoto adjusts at the plate will be one of the biggest spring storylines.

Blue Jays top prospects invited to major-league camp

Despite a breakout 2025 season, Trey Yesavage—Toronto’s No. 1 prospect according to MLB Pipeline—remains rookie-eligible, putting him firmly in the early conversation for the 2026 Rookie of the Year Award.
Ricky Tiedemann (No. 4) is also in camp after being added to the 40-man roster.
At just 23 years old, he still boasts enormous upside despite missing significant time over the past two seasons following elbow surgery.
Fans will also see Gage Stanifer (No. 6) log innings during Grapefruit League play.
One of the organization’s biggest development success stories last year, Stanifer could emerge as a viable MLB option later in the 2026 season.
Among position players, Arjun Nimmala (No. 3) headlines a group that also includes Josh Kasevich, Sean Keys, Charles McAdoo, and outfielder RJ Schreck, who could push his way into the big-league depth chart this year.
The Blue Jays open their exhibition schedule on Saturday, February 21, hosting the Philadelphia Phillies at TD Ballpark.

Notable Spring Training games:

- Tuesday, March 3: Exhibition game vs. Team Canada
- Wednesday, March 11: The only night game of the spring, 6:35 PM vs Yankees
- Saturday, March 21: Spring Breakout game vs. Phillies prospects
Spring Breakout is scheduled for March 21, Spring Breakout brings many of the organization’s top prospects together in one showcase game.
It’s the best opportunity for fans to see the future of the Blue Jays in action, and it coincides with the release of updated Top 30 Prospect rankings for the new season.
The Blue Jays wrap up Grapefruit League play on Sunday, March 22, at home against the Tampa Bay Rays, and are expected to travel to Toronto later that evening.
Opening Day at Rogers Centre is set for Friday, March 27, with first pitch scheduled for 7:07 p.m. ET against the Oakland A’s.
Toronto will host the A’s for a three-game series, followed by three games against the Colorado Rockies, before heading to Chicago in early April for their first road trip of the season against the White Sox.
