The Toronto Blue Jays forced a deciding Game 7 with a 6-2 victory over the Seattle Mariners in Game 6 of the American League Championship Series.

Addison Barger singled home Daulton Varsho in the top of the second to put Toronto up 2-0, before clubbing a slider from Seattle starter Logan Gilbert over the fence in right field to double the Blue Jays' lead at the time.
Addison Barger had 1 RBI in 8 career #Postseason games entering today. He has driven in 3 runs through his first two at-bats!

With Toronto's season on the line, Trey Yesavage once again shined in the postseason.
The 22-year-old hurler rebounded nicely after a rough start in Game 2, and held the Mariners to just two earned runs on six hits over 5.2 innings while also racking up seven strikeouts to three walks.
Yesavage's 22 strikeouts are tied for the 2nd most in MLB history by a rookie in his first 3 career playoff starts.
Trey Yesavage IS built for this moment! The 22-year-old hurler punches out seven over 5 2/3 frames in the Blue Jays elimination game:
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. launched a solo shot in the bottom of the fifth to take the MLB postseason lead, and would later add another run on the base paths after a Cal Raleigh throwing error in the bottom of the seventh.
Vladimir Guerrero Jr.'s 6th home of the postseason ties him with Joe Carter and José Bautista for the most postseason home runs in Blue Jays history.
Mississauga, Ont. native Josh Naylor put the Mariners on the board with a solo shot off of Yesavage in the top of the sixth before Game 5 hero Eugenio Suarez added an RBI single later in the frame, but Louis Varland and Jeff Hoffman took care of business to close out Seattle in Game 6.
Game 7 is set for Monday night in Toronto. The winner will move onto the World Series where they will face the defending champion Los Angeles Dodgers.
