The Toronto Blue Jays look to stave off elimination in Game 6 and force a Game 7 against the Seattle Mariners in the ALCS at Rogers Centre Sunday night.

In just his sixth MLB career appearance, Trey Yesavage will have his team's fate in his hands as he faces Mariners right-hander Logan Gilbert with everything on the line. First pitch is at 8:03 PM ET on Sportsnet and FS1.

Blue Jays' George Springer back in lineup for Game 6 of the ALCS

However, the big news is that George Springer will be in the Blue Jays lineup tonight leading off at designated hitter for Game 6 of the ALCS.
The 36-year-old enjoyed a career year at the plate this season as he slashed .309/.399/.560 with 32 home runs and 27 doubles.

Starting Pitchers Overview

In his last outing Trey Yesavage struggled in Game 2, allowing five runs on four hits and three walks over four innings.
If he dominates like he did against the Yankees in the AL Division Series, the Blue Jays want him on the mound as long as possible.
If the Mariners' approach looks like it did in Game 2, laying off Yesavage's splitter and taking advantage of mistake pitches, he could be facing a quick hook.
As expected, Gilbert will toe the rubber at Rogers Centre Sunday night after giving up three runs (two earned) over three innings in his Game 2 start.
Gilbert has a 2.45 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and 11 strikeouts in 11 innings across three appearances this postseason.
The Blue Jays will have to have good at-bats and run up his pitch count early to have any kind of success against Seattle pitching in Game 6.
