The two-time All-Star has been out since the beginning of September when he suffered a knee injury after a collision at the plate involving New York Yankees catcher Austin Wells.
The World Series doesn't begin until Friday. If the Jays were to advance that far, they would have a few extra days to evaluate Bo.
Bichette's status still up in the air; Jose Berrios officially done for the season
While Bichette's status is still up in the air, one player whom there is no confusion about is Jose Berrios. While the right-hander has resumed throwing, he is not close to returning and has officially been declared done for the season.
This is unsurprising news and even if healthy, Berrios was on the outside looking in in terms of a roster spot.
If the Blue Jays advance, the have until Friday morning to finalize the roster.
