'HIT THAT SINATRA!': Toronto Blue Jays troll New York Yankees multiple times after winning ALDS

First, the Blue Jays' caption read: «Hit that Sinatra,» a reference to Yankee Stadium playing Frank Sinatra's «(Theme From) New York, New York» after each home victory.

Then, there was an edited photo of a Blue Jay taking a bite out of an apple with the Empire State Building in the distance.

While celebrating in the locker room, Blue Jays manager John Schneider exclaimed in a profanity laced speech to «Start spreading the news BIT**ES!!!» (lyrics from Sinatra's song).

You'd be hard-pressed to find anyone who reveled in the Blue Jays' ALDS win over the Yankees more than Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and David Ortiz.

Following Toronto's 5-2 Game 4 win on Wednesday night, the pair of Dominican stars - and certified Yankee killers - trolled their New York counterparts on the Fox post-game show, leaning on Ortiz's trademark line following any Yankees loss.

To make matters worse for any followers of the Bronx Bombers, there were the cuts to Yankees legends and Fox panellists Alex Rodriguez and Derek Jeter as the interview continued.

Even after the Fox panel concluded its interview with Guerrero, Big Papi continued to lay it on the Yankees, whose World Series drought reached 16 years with the loss.

Safe to say that Guerrero and Ortiz won't be forgetting Wednesday's victory any time soon.

Toronto also posted a photo of first baseman Vladdy. shushing, which is his signature gesture while rounding third base after hitting a home run.

After smashing a home run at Yankee Stadium in April 2024, the crowd responded by booing Guerrero when he shushed.

This time, he did it after clinching the series.
