Jamie Campbell announces moving update regarding his battle with cancer

Blue Jays Central host Jamie Campbell announced a touching message about living with cancer involving NHL legend Paul Henderson.
Over the years, Campbell has gone above and beyond to support those that went through a similar battle as he earlier this season he announced that a Jays fan named Ethan Timmers that went through a similar experience was cancer free.

Campbell took to social media to post a message regarding Henderson as he apparently helped him quite a bit throughout his battle with leukemia.
In the post, Campbell admitted to being very scared when he was first diagnosed, but found some comfort when he found out Paul Henderson was living with a similar diagnosis for multiple years so Campbell thanked him in person yesterday.
My initial fear of being diagnosed with leukemia (CLL) was assuaged knowing Paul Henderson had been living with a similar diagnosis for many years. Yesterday, I was able to thank him personally. Grateful to @patientvoiceca for the opportunity. @LLSCanada @LymphomaCanada
Fans reached out to Campbell stating that he played a similar role for them since sharing his story. It helped them realize that they are not alone facing this terrible disease.

Campbell is loved in the city of Toronto and all around Canada not only for being a great host on Blue Jays Central, but for all he does outside of work with his involvment in multiple foundations and is always trying to help others.
