One aspect of playoff games is that they tend to get loud. Nowhere is that more evident then the Rogers Centre.

The home turf of the Toronto Blue Jays is known for being one of the loudest in baseball. Friday's Game 1
victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers showed why.
While the crowd roared for Daulton Varsho's game-tying, two-run homer, they absolutely erupted after Addison Barger's grand slam.
Addison Barger just hit the first pinch-hit grand slam in World Series history.

It's 9-2 #BlueJays. I've never heard this place louder.
On X, Keegan Matheson wrote that the place might collapse. FOX Sports colour commentator John Smoltz - who has played a World Series game in the very same building - said it was one of the loudest things he had ever heard.
After the game, several Blue Jays also commented on the sheerness of the decibels.
Barger said it was "just madness". Game 1 starter Trey Yesavage called both the noise and support "insane" as he worked to try and quell a potent Dodgers lineup headlined by two-way superstar Shohei Ohtani.
It was an insane experience that I'll remember for the rest of my life. - Trey Yesavage

Just madness... the fans are so energetic.. we really feel it. - Addison Barger

Game 1 was loud, even by Rogers Centre standards

In 2015, after Jose Bautista launched his legendary home run, Rogers Centre got so loud that the television cameras were visible shaking live on air. Friday's game might have surpassed that.
The Dome is going to collapse.

After Addison Barger hit the first pinch-hit home run in World Series history, Alejandro Kirk just went yard. They've scored 9 in the 6th.

It's 11-2 #BlueJays
Whatever the end result will be, this World Series is going to be a loud one.
