The Toronto Blue Jays could finally be getting some depth back into their rotation. Triple-A starter Adam Kloffenstein, out since Spring Training with a shoulder injury, has finally begun his rehab.

Assigned to Triple-A Buffalo at the start of the season, Kloffenstein was recently sent to Low-A Dunedin.
He looks good to make one or two starts there, before up through New Hampshire.
Once he has accomplished that, he should be activated at start playing for Buffalo.
Kloffenstein's return comes at a time when the Blue Jays need it most.
Although the big league team recently signed Jose Urena and Spencer Turnbull, both of those are major league contracts and the team will still depth at the minor league levels.
Jake Bloss and Adam Macko are hurt with no timetable for their return.
While Easton Lucas is performing well, he has had mixed success at the big league level.
Ditto for Paxton Schultz. Lazaro Estrada is 0-3 with an ERA over 7.00 and Anders Tollhurst has been up-and-down.
If healthy, Kloffenstein could find himself the ace of the Bisons and on the cusp of a return to the major leagues, with the team that drafted him no less.
Still just 24, Kloffenstein has all of one major league inning, making his debut with the St. Louis Cardinals during the Rickwood game last year.
He has made one previous rehab appearance with the FCL Blue Jays earlier this year.
He was saddled with a hard-luck loss after giving up one unearned run in 4.2 innings. He gave up five hits and struck out eight.
If all goes well, he could in the majors but mid-season, if not sooner.
