Toronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Alek Manoah is progressing well in his rehab from Tommy John surgery.

Alek Manoah's journey back to MLB continued with a solid showing in his first rehab outing two weeks ago in Dunedin, Fla.
Manoah tossed two innings for the single-A Blue Jays, allowing one run on three hits with two strikeouts.
He threw 16 of his 28 pitches for strikes and did not walk a batter, sitting around 93 m.p.h. with his sinker.

Sportsnet's Ben Nicholson-Smith reports that Manoah is up to 70 pitches now, (up from 45 in his last outing) and will be headed to Double-A New Hampshire or even Triple-A Buffalo shortly.
Alek Manoah threw a four-inning sim game at Jays' Florida complex recently, throwing 69 pitches. Next outing likely to be at AA or AAA.
The Athletic's Mitch Bannon reiterated the same progress report on Manoah.

Manoah underwent UCL reconstruction last season after a five-game return to the big leagues in which he posted a 3.70 ERA over 24.1 innings.
Manoah, 27, finished as a Cy Young Award runner-up in 2022 before struggling through 2023, where he shuttled between the minors and majors.
Since his dominant 2022 season, Manoah has thrown only 111.2 innings for the Blue Jays, holding a 5.40 ERA.
